Which One Makes Better Music?
One of the seemingly obvious uses for the iPad would be for playing games. However, there are some limitations that people may not think of when first drooling over the larger-than-cellphone sized screen.
While you may be thinking that this could be an oversized Nintendo DS or Sony PSP it turns out to be a different beast. It's also not just a light laptop.
One disappointment people will find is that the iPad does not play flash games. That means if there are web sites that have games you like to play online, you will not be able to play them in the same way you would on your laptop or desktop computer. There is the possibility that these games will move to HTML5, which the iPad supports, but this could be a long time coming.
The best bet for games on the iPad is to find games that are written specifically for the iPad or iPhone. The good news is that games written for the iPhone will run on the iPad. The down side of this solution is that the resolution will not look as good since the game is written for a much smaller screen. However, games that are popular on the iPhone will likely make it to a higher resolution relatively quickly. It may even be ready now!
